Bob Litschi, a senior leader with a 35-year successful business career with a balance of financial and general manager leadership positions. Significant experience in advising owners of Companies and working directly with private equity firms in support of their portfolio companies. With close to 13 years of experience with Tatum, the largest executive services in the country providing interim and permanent solutions in the Office of the CFO and CIO, Bob played a major role in the national growth of Tatum through senior management leadership and board representation. Bob was instrumental in designing an assessment tool used as an objective viewpoint as to the effectiveness of the Office of the CFO & CIO. Bob has significant relationships with talented executive resources across the country who are utilized by Litschi Advisors based on the specific fit. Bob has consulted with numerous private and private equity funded companies about business models and capital formation strategies.
Prior to Tatum, Bob held the position of General Manager, EVP of International Sales and CFO over a 15-year span with an oilfield service company. Bob was responsible for selling this division to a strategic buyer for $100 million.
Bob’s early career was with a Big Four Firm, holding other financial leadership roles prior to being CFO of a publicly held company.
Rod Macdonald
Consulting and Private Equity
For the past 10 years, Rod has been advising companies who are facing high growth issues while serving as interim CFO until a permanent replacement can be hired. Rod is also active in Daylight Partners which makes investments in early-mid stage companies. Daylight provides consulting expertise to those who are seeking both investment capital as well as access to deep functional experience of the partners.
Rod is a senior executive with deep controllership operating expertise in leading companies including Dell Inc, Emerson Electric, and Monsanto. Rod has demonstrated the leadership to put strategic and operating plans in place, established the appropriate operating and financial metrics, and assisted CEO’s in implementing a performance culture. At Dell as a CFO staff member, Rod guided the public sector business through Dell’s first significant reductions in force retaining double digit revenue growth and company leading profitability.
Rod has significant tenure with small & medium size private companies in high technology. Regardless of a company’s size, Rod has come in when growth slows and recommended the appropriate actions to improve profitability and cash flow. Rod has also had responsibility for sales, HR and IT functions which provides a broad perspective for coaching engagements.
Andrew Litschi
Strategy, Finance, & Operations
Andrew provides strategy for business owners and investors who seek to understand the financial and operational implications of changes and/or growth to their business model. This includes building complex financial models (e.g. growth, capital raise, segment profitability), acquiring new businesses (e.g. buy or build scenarios), adding a new business division, or harvesting their business to strategic buyers. Andrew then partners at the VP level and other teams to drive the execution of that strategy.
He received his MBA in entrepreneurship from Acton School of Business in Austin, Tx. Prior to his MBA, Andrew led a number of institutes—helping academics create funding and infrastructure around their vision for research. Andrew received his M.A.R. from Yale University and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
Jeff Daly
Technology & Business
Jeff brings extensive leadership experience in technology and business. As a technology leader, he aligns the use of technology with the needs of the business in mid-market companies, advises clients on application development processes, application systems/services (cloud based) selection and implementation, and their technology organization, strategies, and budgets, and communicates options and results in business terms with the client’s executives.
Jeff was CIO/VP of IT at Norwood Promotional Products, InterVoice, and Cyrix semiconductor and consulting leadership roles at Adobe, Tatum, and Lotus. He also created two technology startups that were sold to Fortune 500 companies.
